I Am a Graphic Designer......Dory

Creating works of art that people can associate with has been my goal since beginning my journey in creative design work. As a graphic designer I must always keep one simple rule in mind: If the consumer does not understand my client’s business or message, the product will never sell. My job is to create the most appealing yet simple design possible. I strive to present the client’s product or service in such as way that everyday people will look at it and think, “Oh, I know that brand.”

My personal preferences inevitably come into play within my work. I prefer subtle, soft, calming colors. When designing websites, I try to use no more than three colors. I implement a similar philosophy throughout my design work. I feel I can create just what the client needs without having to “blast” the message to the consumers. Maybe that’s a bit old fashioned, but then again, so am I.
